Coundon Court Early Years Centre
Setting
In Early Years we are very proud of our high standard of quality childcare and early years education. We have been established over 25 years and have self contained facilities in the Old House. Our Toddler room provides care for 8 children per day and our preschool playgroup 24 children per day.We have two bright attractive rooms, kitchen, bathroom and office, an enclosed playground and full use of the extensive grounds. We have a healthy eating policy and can provide breakfast, lunch and tea for day care children.
Staffing
All our staff are fully qualified at level 3 experienced Nursery Nurses and are committed to our staff development programme. Our staff to child ratio is:
- 1:3 children 6mths-1 year
- 1:4 children 2-3 years
- 1:8 children 3 years and over
Individual care and learning
Each child is treated as an individual and will thrive in our caring and happy environment. We place particular emphasis on personal and social skills which help children to become confident, sociable and self assured. All our activities are carefully planned by each child’s key worker to meet their own individual interests, needs and learning styles using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Opening times
We are open 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday term time only for children over 2 years of age.
Staff creche is open 8.00am - 4.30pm for children from 6 months old
We currently have no vacancies for children under 3 years. However, we do have some afternoon vacancies for children over 3 years old.
Funding
We have funded places available and can take employers childcare vouchers. Our fees are £3.75 per hour for under 2s and £3.60 per hour for over 2s.
