Clark McCallum

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the sudden and very unexpected death of Clark McCallum, one of our long serving and highly respected PE teachers. I have shared the very sad news with staff, students and governors and have provided support systems where appropriate.
Clark McCallum connected with the students on every level. He inspired them, he enthused them and he encouraged them. They adored, respected and looked up to him.
The Local Authority Educational Psychology Service are working closely with the school to support our students and staff. Students have been given a leaflet to take home offering some guidance for themselves and their families.
I hope you understand my decision to postpone this week’s performance of ‘Sister Act’ until further notice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Clark’s family and friends at this very sad time and we will take our guidance from them in terms of further arrangements.
